Sandra Cumming

Sandra Cumming

Sandra Cumming started her career with Roswell Park as a nurse in October 1976. After retiring, she decided to Remember Roswell in her will because working at Roswell Park meant so much to her, especially the connection she made with patients.

"I believe Roswell Park has the best and brightest doctors and nurses in the field and that they are making groundbreaking research efforts every single day, so patients have access to treatments that few have elsewhere," Sandra explained. Sandra's leaving a legacy gift with two hopes: First, that Roswell Park continues on its road of research and discoveries for patients, and second that people continue to support Roswell Park's work like she is.

"If you've been affected by cancer, and most of us have, whether it be a friend, a family member, or maybe even a neighbor, consider Remembering Roswell because it is important work that they do here every day," Sandra expressed. "The more people that get involved in fundraising or Remembering Roswell in their will, the easier it is for Roswell Park to continue the wonderful work that they've been doing."
